When looking for beta fish food it is often recommended to feed your beta fish everyday around the same time but to skip 1 day each week. This will give their digestive system a rest and time to recover. You will notice you have a happier, livelier beta fish.

Usually a little pricier, but well worth it. They should be fed to beta Fish as an occasional treat.

Live worms beta fish food 
Use worms from local pet stores. Ensure the worms are thoroughly cleaned. 

Frozen beta fish food 
This includes such things are blood worms and brine shrimp. Be sure to clean any food before 
freezing. 

Sometimes after you feed you beta fish you may notice that tank 
becomes a little cloudy. If this happens it is a sign that you are 
over feeding your beta fish. To help alleviate this issue you can 
use rich tropical flakes fish food when feeding beta fish, .
